Sean Flaherty swang through and got that Tiger piece I posted in my last update. He filmed the occasion at the new shop, Memento, and we had a blast. Check it out! Thanks again Sean!

Positivity, Positively
I've been focusing heavily on trying to stay as positive as I can. A conversation with an old friend many years ago got me to thinking about thought manifestation. I had fixated on this school of thought a while back, but never committed to it primarily due to immaturity. With my new family, this thought process may be something valuable to the life I have with my fiance and soon-to-arrive daughter. Negative thinking can consume a lot of time and hinder productivity. It can debilitate relationships. It can wreck anything near and dear. I ain't having that. So here's some PMA and a new painting I completed tonight.

I WON, I WON, I WON!
So, I entered a Flash contest on Tattoodles, and I won. I friggin WON! There were plenty of great submissions but mine made the cut, and I'll be recieveing this bad boy as the prize.
It's a custom built machine by Mr. John Moniz. Awesome design, and I can't wait to plow sweet lines in my future tattoos with it. The best trophy ever, I'm super excited.

Things Change... for the Better
As many of you have heard, I've severed all ties to Inspired By Ink. I was supposed to finish out the week there, but after some extreme recent events outside of my control (which left me with a bitter taste in my mouth) - I have found the best plan of action is to remove myself from that situation as quickly as possible. It's always sad when you have to leave something on an off-key note... but I can't blame myself for this one. I've been given a super good opportunity to work with some artists that I admire, and for that I'm very grateful for.
The new shop I'll be working at is currently under it's final stages of construction. It will be open in the coming week(s) and upon it's opening - I will inform everyone on how, where, and when to reach me. I am very excited to be a part of something fresh and new, with the potential to make a lot of awesome creative moves in the future.
To my clientele bearing with me during this transition, I appreciate your patience more than I can convey in a simple email or phone call. Moving (especially after being somewhere for so long) is never easy. I value everyone who has entrusted me with their skin, and I hope to have the privilege to give you even better work in the future. Take care everyone and keep posted!

Smile for the camera! Octo-Geisha?
The homie Sean Flaharty filmed me hooking his friend Tracy up with his first tattoo. He went with a big pseudo-biomech piece, which is a little outside of my norm... but it gave me a chance to have some fun with a style that normally doesn't fall in my lap to often. I had a good time with it. I also managed to get a couple paintings done. Till next time!
